In my opinion, Grant is one of the best PBP guys in the NBA. But he is AWFUL as a sports radio host. AWFUL! I hate his show/attitude. Dave was the last great local sports radio host. Jason Ross is still cool, but he's no Carmichael Dave, and I'm not taking anything away from Jason when I say that.

Ive just stopped listening. I find more accuracy and truth in other media now. Its a shame because for years I was one of those guys who would listen at 4pm sharp every day. Now? Why bother. I wont listen to bull. He no longer has credibility and frankly....I just dont care what he says.

Exactly, it's total B.S. out of Napear's lying, arrogant mouth. Yet, the pathetic dude brags everytime he's put on the defensive how HIS sports radio show is #1 rated in Sac. Best strategy to finally get the New York homer stink run out of town is to stop buying and protest directly to local advertisers and sponsers on his show - like Petkus Brothers, Folsom Lake Ford, etc. Contacting KHTK and saying you want he the traitorous big mouth fired is probably less effective strategy considering that little radio station being in bed with MSE.

I don't listen to Grant anymore either. Not after how he's been. I know it's his job and he can't bite the hand that feeds him, but he could go about it in a better way rather than pissing on all the callers. He's always pissed on callers, but now he's pissing on callers who have good points, and good questions.

Sucks because I hate that high talker guy on KNBR who's with the other guy. forget their names, but I don't really like that show either.

Once upon a time I would hunt for recordings and podcasts from Grant on all things Kings but I have not done that in months now. I am sick of listening to this sleazebag that is only interested in being a mouth piece for the most dodgy owners in professional sports. His interests is not the Kings, its not being a realist in the debates, it is about sucking up to the Maloofs to the points where he is contradicting himself on a lot of things.

He is a guy that you would never "go to war with" because he would sell you out at the first opportunity just to make sure his *** it taken care of. He has an ego the size of the pacific ocean and does not allow anyone to bring forward the argument that discredit him. He will just yell them down and move on. He is a dictator in the purest sense of the word when it comes to the media. I just hope there comes a day when we get new owners and these guys realize just how much of a slimeball this douche bag really is and show him the exit door so he can leave Sacramento with a tail between his legs together with the Maloofs because that is exactly what he deserves. I am sure the Maloofs will have a job for him at the Palms as a janitor, provided of course they are still wanted there.

There are not many people in this world that make my stomach turn...this douchebag is certainly one of those people. I can't stand people with a lack of integrity and Grant wouldn't know the meaning of the word, let alone having any.

I also had stopped listening to him. I enjoyed his show in the past but his blind loyalty for the magoofs will be his downfall. Do I blame him, nope...I probably would defend the people that had given me the opportunity to have a life such as his. But still this is war between the magoofs and Sacramento Kings fans....you just have to pick a side.

Just posting some clarity that I have not seen posted in this thread about the words between Grant and Sam. Grant saw Sam's tweet about shame on CBS and in extension the Maloofs for letting Dave go.

Grant went on to blast Sam for insinuating such a thing. I believe it started with shame on him for posting public comments such as that, etc. Insinuated it was disingenuous etc. When you see Sam's tweets start to direct at Grant it's Sam responding to what Grant said on the air. So either Sam was listening, or someone told him to turn it on or something.
