Well, in all fairness, its not like we lost to the New York Khakis or the New York Tapered-Leg Acid-Wash Mom-Jeans.

Knickerbockers have a certain style to them, at least.

Oh no, in Britain they still use it for "panties", but in America its meaning is more archaic -- kind of long bloomers from the turn of last century.

And I'm glad you responded because I was having a hard time coming up with anything non-obscene to sya in response to GGG.

And again I've had to start and delete about 5 versions of this post. (Probably has something to do with the deplorable state of my own knowledge of cockney slang -- revolving as it does almost entirely around various body parts ).
