Great grades, great game, GREAT bench! Never let the game get away to have to play catch-up, when has that happened lately against a worthy opponent? KG looked out of sorts, but that was because Darius put him in SHOCK! Deer caught in the headlights effect, I'd say. Darius & Matt were brilliant on defense, sure favorites for Adelman to go to in times of need now, I suspect. As far as Bradley, not really fair the guy hasn't played more than a couple of minutes of real time (not garbage), maybe he needs a little more time on the floor with the others. Have they even PRACTICED together at all since the trade?

Anyhoo....always, I love the underdog. We were definitely the underdogs today, was a HUGE WIN.

A+ for telemundo, watching a game hasn't been this entertaining in a while, even though I haven't the foggiest what they were saying.

Bibby ( B+ ) -- for the first 28 minutes or so of the game I was really mad at Mike. The rest of the guys were absolutely busting their asses, and Mike was just zoning out, letting the team down on a night when we desperately needed him. Think he was 0-8 at halftime, and went into the half picking up a stupid T on the way to the locker room. But the second half he just exploded, and joined Brad and Mobley in carrying us offensively. On top of that joined the hustle party on defense, scrambling around, getting his hands on balls, and then put a giant exclamation point on it with a flying block in the final minute.

I've never disputed your grades before.

And, I can't find a single thing in your explanation that I disagree with.

However, if the block didn't knock the grade up to, at least, an A-, the crossover should have.

was 0-8 in the first half babe. Err...GGG. And kind of a dumb first half too. Figured he was probably about a D or so for the first 24, so hard to make it up to overall "A" level even with the A second half.

But that's just me, its an art not a science, and you're free to give out as many A's as your little heart desires.

Oh, I agree. I agree completely.

It was just tough too see all those A's and Mike's lowly little B+.

So, I'm pouting. And I have no problem admitting it.

Adleman took a risk by not substituting for the entire second half and at one point where the shots stopped falling for a minute or two it might be the end of them, but things turned out alright and the move paid off. So kudos to coach.

Mike was amazing I thought. Especially for a guy dealing with a cold.


Brad was unbelievable. Matt and Darius were great. Darius and Cat had several amazing passes that were sweet.

We only had 7 turnovers. Tells just how gret we played.

Why give Adelman an A+???

He was forced to play his bench in the first half and then played his entire starting 5 the whole second half. The reason why we won is because we made shots in the second half, we took care of the defensive boards and Minny played pretty bad.

Great win but there will be games during the season where Adelman will play his starters huge minutes and we will lose because he forgot he had a bench that can be just as productive.

The Kings did beautifully yesterday. Just what I enjoy so much about them, my heart swelled with love!! Team effort definately an A+++ in my book. Let us all hope they can keep it up.

They have a tough one coming up, but at least they will be in Arco.

BTW, Bibby's block blew me AWAY!!

I was very nervous when they announced on TV that both Webb and Pedja were sitting this one out. However, our guys played an excellent game!!
Maybe our bench finally beat those demons we had when it comes to Minny....

ha! i seem to be hearing that alot lately! oh well. the thing that excites me is that RA might realize that certain bench players can play well and actually help win games. we are definately not better without those two (IMO) but now we see what the bench can do and maybe the regular starters don't have to play as many minutes.

on a side note: i loved DC and was very sad to see him go but i think cat is really going to help us in ways DC could not!!!!!!
