I have been thinking the exact same thing the last few weeks. New Owners, New GM, New Coach and #1 pick in the draft. Maybe some trades for more draft picks. I got my eye 6'4 PG

Yes, everybody got healthy which meant that a lot of guys didn't get "their" minutes. Lots of selfish players on this team. They don't play hard and get very selfish with the basketball when they aren't playing as much as they think they should.

Bingo! Unfortunately, there are more selfish players on this team than there are unselfish.

I mentioned this in another thread, and I was watching the Denver feed, so it might not have been on the sacramento feed. But did anyone see the evil look that Cousins gave Brooks in the first half, when Brooks came out of the game and sat down next to Cousins? If looks could have killed!

One would think Smart would start coaching with a sense of urgency knowing he's gone at the season no matter what and won't get another HC job if he keeps coaching like this.

Revisitng the Denver idea in the trade thread, Stone is very intriguing as a 5th guard project. Similar to TWill, without the issues, although also somehow a worse scorer. But very unselfish, good size, and athletic.

Although I'd rather trade Brooks than IT, a MT/IT/Outlaw combo matches with Chandler/Mozgov/Stone.

Johnson ( D ) --almsot a give up D here. Very little while the game was on, not that brooks was going to let him have the ball anyway. I think had one layup at half. Jumper never was on, never grabbed a board. Late in the garbagetime got flatfooted on a little dunk attempt and got it swatted from behind. Nothing to see here. --Brick

Fredette (D ) -- Jimmer played 16 minutes and he did do a few things right. He stole the ball twice, and he played within the offense. Unfortunately, his shot just wasn't falling tonight, and if it had, he would have gotten a C. He had one assist on a nice bounce pass to IT on the break. He also had a bounce pass that didn't get to the target for a turnover. Most of his shots were open shots, so no excuses. It just wasn't his night. But then, its wasn't the Kings night. Brutal is the word that springs to mind. --Baja

I think we missed our chance to get Ill Will, I thought since Hamilton, Brewer, Gallo and Iggy were all playing well there was no room for him and that teams should go after him, but I was completely wrong Ill Will is now playing the PF a lot and helping out the Nuggets a lot in particular with his good rebounding/shooting. I would have loved to see him play on the Kings ethier filling in as a PF while spacing the floor or as a long term SF. If I was Denver there is no way I'm giving up Chandler for Thornton hes overall a better player and hes a good size for his position. On top of that Thomas and Outlaw are completely useless on a good team, they would never seen mins behind all the names I said on top of Miller and Lawson.Mozgov has more value than both combined and they could get a far better deal in return.

Well if thats the case, I'll start. Too many guards with similar tendencies. Keith Smart refuses to set a consistent rotation. When we had all these injuries he had no choice but to stick with a consistent rotation. Hence the chemistry and trust built.

And for the past 13 games, the Kings have averaged playing 6.0 guys 20 minutes or more; the opposition is at 6.5 guys 20 minutes or more.
