Why in the world do you keep thinking this organization is tanking? There is a difference between tanking and simply being a bad team. The kings are the latter.

You think a rookie head coach who is trying to make a name for himself wants to keep losing games?

Sometimes thoughts pass through your head and then you reject them. Read the entire note. The entire rest of the note supported the idea that there was no tank. Too many words to read, I suppose.

Why would the thought that a rookie coach trying to make a name for himself supports tanking enter anybody's mind? You would think that if a coach wants to tank intentionally he doesn't allow for the game to be close in the end right because anything can happen that makes the ball bounce in your favor. I guess people will think anything to fuel their anti-PDA campaign.

You have expanded a minor random thought that several people had, not just Chubbs, into a big anti-PDA agenda. Congrats.

You're just going to have to go back and read what I said again.

Actually wouldn't it be a big problem that a franchise is intentionally losing games considering the high moral standard you hold the FO to?

Dude, I said nothing about tanking. The opposite I think. I got the absolute opposite impression in his post game interview.

Malone played it poorly. So poorly it felt intentional at the time, to me and many others on here. But like I said, with further thought, it was a rookie coach making rookie mistakes, probably limiting minutes with the back to back in mind. It led to a very ugly loss. That clearly wasn't his goal.

I'm not sure if I need to write better, or you need to read better.

No. I think the FO has an obligation to provide the fans with best team possible. The best way of doing that THIS YEAR taking into account that free agents won't come here and that trades are normally an exchange of similar skilled players, we need a high draft pick. I do not (have I said this before?) think that a coach tanks, I do not think that players tank but I do think a team can be constructed so that it simply cannot win easily.

That doesn't mean you don't play him again tonight, tomorrow, and every late game situation for the next five seasons. Even if he is terrible. That's your guy. You hope he learns to win. There's really no other option.
True, there is no other option. I just think he should be criticized as we do the rest. There isn't much mention when really screws up. He is so talented and such a good guy, all he needs to do is weed out more of his lapses. He will, hopefully sooner rather than later.

You seem to be watching a diff game than everyone else.

It hard to take this any other way than an insult. A lot people around here have a hard time being objective.

Any claim that this team is deep is misguided and can only be the conclusion of someone who only watches the kings nightly and not around the league. If you watch around the league, you'd conclude pretty quick our 5- 12 guys are bottom of the league talent wise, or at least playing down to that level. Or just look at a stat sheet. Take IT off the bench, it's prob the worst or darn near it. That's why we are 5-13 and not 13-5 despite have two of the top ten PER players in the league. Usually that means you are a contender. Durant/Westbrook, Kobe/shaq, Lebron/wade. Yet somehow cousins/IT isn't winning games.

Our next best PER guy is outlaw. Poor salmons is last on the team (other than ndiaye) and arguably the worst player getting regular minutes in the nba the last couple seasons. The avg player has a per of 15. Only outlaw is over 15 after IT/cousins. PER isn't perfect, but that seems to indicate we have only two above average players playing regular minutes. And some regulars getting mins that are significantly below average.

Enter Johnny Salmons (PER of 8.56). Stats pretty clearly show outlaw is better than salmons. Not sure why the worst one is playing. Worst on the team! among players playing 25 mpg or more (salmons at 24.7 mpg) , only Jared Dudley and tayshaun prince are worse than salmons in the west.

GV is at 14.6. His ineptness has been slightly overstated I think, at least from a statistical standpoint. I may be a lone wolf in this opinion, but that's why I think GV and IT should play together, in small doses. As long as we have both, why not? They are both among our top 5 players. Some nights it'll make more sense than others obviously.

To quote some wise soul around here, "Something about a pot, and a kettle" in regards to objectivity. Claiming this team isn't cousins and IT and a bunch of scrubs (two with strong potential in Williams and Ben) is ignoring a reality that is plainly evident to most observers.

You choose how to take it. You could just as easily take it as a statement of differing opinion, an indication that you and the poster are worlds apart on how you view things. If you're going to choose to be insulted, that's on you.
