He was. Santorini, Greece according to the Wikipedia. However, NBA and ESPN sites say Canton, Ohio, but he obviously got there before his high school age.

I just sent him a tweet, asking him which is right. I think he'll probably know.

Everywhere I've ever looked until today on Wikipedia says Kosta was born in Canton, Ohio. And that fact was clearly recently changed on Wikipedia.

I find it hard to believe everywhere but a crowd sourced site is wrong.

but...he's got a funny sounding name!!
