Very nice to see Dalembert do what he does. It has kind of been a while. Maybe it was the lack of PT, but whatever it was he showed us the whole defensive package tonight. He had a stretch of games there were the defense had fallen off a bit, hopefully we see this Dalembert more often.

He really does make it look so easy when he is on his game, which makes the games were he isnt very frustrating.

Didn't the national tam relegate him to Donte-level last year though? I don't blame him.

If I recall correctly, he was simply informed he would be coming off the bench, and he decided to leave the team. I think it was Dragic that was taking the starting slot. I also seem to recall that Beno and Dragic do not get along at all. I could be wrong on all that, though.

Actually, Beno Udrih and Goren Dragic are very good friends. Can't say the same about Sasha Vujacic who is not all that well liked by guys on Slovenian National Basketball team. Ironically, Vujacic was cut from the team after Udrih said he was leaving due to disagreement with the teams coach about his role going forward when Jaka Lakovic (not Dragic) was named as starter over Beno.

Excellent game and for 4 quarters for a change. The venue was the thing with a whimpy Knicks squad and a turned on Kings rotation. Beno is having a career year and so far the team leader. Cousins still learning. Don't understand JT's short minutes yho'. Laundry proving his worth again as is Omri and Jeter.

Ah, yes. Thanks for clearing me up on that.

Spot on. I don't blame Beno. Lakovic isn't even starting for his team FC Barcelona. He's been Rubio's and Navarro's backup for 2 seasons now.

Beno Udrih is treating Slovenian NT just as he treats the Kings. He plays when he feels like it. This man is egocentric wannabe that will stab you in the back at first opportunity. Ask Spurs, ask his Slovenian teammates and I believe Kings got some of his medicine in the past already.
Suddenly he is to good for Slovenian people, making excuses for not playing and blaming everybody but himself.

Go Beno, grab your money while you can, because you are not making any friends right now. And after everybody forgets you in the USA and you return back home, with your tail betveen your legs, there will be plenty of people that would know nothing about you but will be more than happy to take your money!

I like the Dalembert/Cousins pairing.. If it's working so well then why did it take the coach months to figure out what us armchair coaches figured out right off the bat?
There were actually only a few of us (maybe 3-4 "stupid-thinking" posters) who actually saw this pairing working well, especially in our current roster. Most "knowledgeable coaches" in this forum thought otherwise.

Don't you remember what those pretending to be all-knowledgeable in basketball used to say?

Dalembert is a center, period. Cousins is a center, period. You don't play both at the same time and out of their natural position. It is not going to work. Both guys will get beat again and again by the much quicker PF's in this league or will be ineffective against the outside shooting PF's - as if all those PF's move like Rajon Rondo and shoots like Ray Allen and DMC and Dalembert are immobile bigs and move like turtles.
