Sessions has the longest leash for a pro athlete I have ever seen. After this the coach surely has to put him on the end of the bench right? My god Nik couldn't do worse playing the point

Session's leash is longer than the leash on the dog in the Chevron commercial. It would seem they are bound and determined to get Sessions going to the detriment of the team. At some point don't you have to go to Ray McCallum? RayMac looked very good at the end of the season last year. I think he looked pretty good in summer league. It looks like he is working hard and improving his game. He's young, plays very good perimeter defense. They don't send him down to Reno and they hardly play him. It is a huge mystery. To me at some point they need to let Sessions have some bench time and maybe play his way back onto the second unit. Give RayMac some run and see what he can do. He seems to be a spark off the bench every time he comes in. Sure he makes the occasional boneheaded play or turnover, but he is a very young player who has not gotten a lot of playing time. Sessions is making way too many boneheaded plays, doesn't make anyone around him better, and always seems to be trying to score the ball. He doesn't get the team into a play or set up any of his teammates for baskets. At what point does Malone cut bait here? Is RayMac doing something wrong in practice? Is he in the doghouse for something? Or are Malone and PDA trying to show that they were right somehow by allowing Sessions to play and hope he snaps out of his poor playing efforts? I dont think Sessions is going to snap out. I think his game has degenerated into what it is.

I hope Ray Mac gets more playing time ASAP !

To the above and whether Nik couldn't do much worse playing PG......right now he can't draw iron on a shot. Our backup guards are a hot mess right now.....and I don't include Ray in that group. One thing you can't argue with based on what we have seen is that Ray appears to be more mentally tough than either Ramon or Nik. Not sure what is going on with Sessions....it is a mystery. Nik's lack of mental toughness is as disappointing as anything....I'm sure some are going to play the rookie card but come on. Give me the mentally tough Ray at either PG or SG please.

I think the big question which has been partially addressed in this thread and the Ramon Sessions thread is how can we maximize a trade where we unload Sessions, D-Will and ... for a true shooting guard or legit back up center or both. I think we are all happy that the Bmac trade rumors were just that RUMORS but we still have to have some consistency from our bench or we aren't going to stay above .500. Nik will be fine but with limited minutes everything he does or doesn't do gets magnified.

has there ever been a time where we don't question and are satisfied with coach decisions? I feel like as fans, we're always screaming about coach rotations and/or when they leave a player out too long or put them in too soon, etc. Feels like Keith Smart all over again

In fairness to us, Keith Smart was an idiot

What feels like Keith Smart, the tone on here about the coach or the coach? For my part Malone is doing just fine.

He's always a bad coach after a defeat.

less so after a win.

/fans.

Thanks. I guess I knew that already, it's just ......... Oh, never mind. It's not what we did last time, it's what we do tonight. For ure we will have 5 guys out there on the floor and they will, too. Let's have our guys beat their guys.

They were unfortunately lost in the Great Crash of 2004, but in 2002-2003 there were even those few who would start the occasional "Fire Adelman" thread.
