You seem incredibly overfascinated by shooting percentages. He also grabbed 20 rebounds for the second time this season, 1 off his career high. He controleld turnovers and he stayed out of foul trouble in a game where the refs would naturally have been looking for him, and played more than 40 minues for only the 3rd time in his career.

Big kid did fine. The shooting percentage is why he gets a B-. If he shoots well as well, he is looking at something in the A range.

The thing is that you don't get wins and losses based on rebounds. You get them on points and his shooting and use of the teams possessions was pretty dreadful. You seem to be giving a lot of credit to him for being on the court and staying out of foul trouble. Those aren't things that lead to wins unless you shoot a good percentage, play great defense or at very least make your free throws. Cousins did none of those things. He does rebound like a mad man and if my opinion that is what would have kept him out of the F range.

The Kings had many problems against the Clips (injuries among the biggest) but the "big kid" hurt you more than he helped you.

Rebounding only helps teams win because it stops the other team from having a chance to SCORE and helps your team get another chance to SCORE. It isn't the basis for wins which is what I stated. (at the end of the game they don't add up rebounds and give the win to whoever has the most). If you get rebounds and then pee them away with missed shots they don't help the team win.

BTW we are only a game out of the playoffs with the tiebreaker over Denver. I think we make it.(fingers crossed)

The team's biggest weaknesses are getting good shots on offense, allowing easy baskets on defense, and then defensive rebounding.

A SF who can defend and stretch the floor with 3's, an athletic big who can block shots and rebound, and this team is good. Unfortunately the team chose Salmons and Chuck to fill those roles.

Even in Northern California we understand that scoring is the end product of the other nuances of the game. This is incredibly condescending and troll-like. Who is this "we" you are talking about.? Cousins a B-? He was 5-19 and let Blake go off. Interesting grading system you have there. Cousins get credit for not blowing up over the controversy that he started and staying on the floor while playing no defense.

What a difference competent refs make. They had control the whole game unlike Thurs. The Kings missed Thornton last night when Thompson was a no show. The Kings were in it until the end. The Clippers deserve credit for putting their heads down and playing like professionals. They showed why they are in the hunt in the playoffs.

I agree. I also don't understand how Blake dunked with impunity while he had no dunks in Sacramento. Were we out coached or was this just a random happenstance. I'm more inclined to think the latter also the "random happenstance" that may have stopped Blake from dunking in Sacramento may have been that Boogie sacrificed his allotment of fouls trying to stop him. Not worth it.

Perhaps also the competent refs allowed him to dunk. Not sure what to think about that but it WAS in LA, wasn't it?

No doubt. As muchg as we joke about his height, he DOES have defensive skills and can keep people away from the rim.
