Well, we will just have to wait and see. Not even Casspi himself or Westphal know the answer to this question.

I do think that this board (not you. the overall attitude expressed in this board in recent months) has beenquite bi-polar lately. A couple of weeks ago Donte was God and Casspi was a self-centered scrub who fails to see his own scrubness. Now Casspi is the starting SF of the future and Donte should stick to making youtube videos... Nobody really knows what will become of either of them, but one thing is for sure - they will both have games that will make us pull our hair out, as well as games that will make them look as future all stars. Donte will snap out of his slump at some point, and Omri will experience another slump, but hopefully both of them will be more consistant (and that's also on Westphal who needs to guide them into consistancy) and become solid contributors. Both are young and have the potential to do it. No need to throw anyone under the bus just yet.

I see Donte and Omri very even right now.
What i tried to say is that Casspi had one good game and nothing else.
We are right now in the lucky situation to have 2 equally good young players on the SF position.
Who in the end will be a starter is not important since we need as well a good backup from the bench.
No need to see all too negative..

I agree. The only part of my post that was directed to you was the first line. In the next paragraph I specifically said that I was not refering to you when I was talking about the bi-polarness of this board, but to the general attitudes expressed here recently. I'm with you on this issue.

Yah, I would love to see a starting lineup of Dally, and Cousins just for the heck of it. See if they can get the Kings going early.
This I would like to see too. But not now when Dalembert is still not on his best physical condition and Cousins is still trying to get the feel of he NBA. Otherwise, the result would be very deceiving.

From the way Omri looked when he was walking up to take those crucial FT's, I could have SWORN he was going to make both, and certainly make one of them.
He seemed so focused, intent on being the one to put his foot on the Cav's necks and close them out.

I was shocked that he missed both - he just about single-handedly won the game for us, and he choked on the one area where it IS just him winning the game for us (from the free throw line).

Odd. Just odd.
I don't know if they showed on TV the reaction of Greene, Garcia, and Cousins at the bench when Casspi missed the first freethrow and again the second freethrow. You can still watch it on Broadband League Pass in case you missed it. My brother and I argued over the interpretation of their reactions.

When Casspi missed the first freethrow, Garcia covered his face, Greene showed a devilish smile then covered his face, and Cousins move his head from side-to-side in disgust. My brother said those 3 were jealous of Casspi's performance as if they were saying to Westphal "there is your cocky boy you've chosen to take those freethrows and missing badly". I told my brother it was not the case and these guys were having good chemistry and there were no sort of professional jealousy among them. I know what you guys think, I have a pest for a brother and he is a Laker fan.

If my brother is right, then I thank Casspi for having missed those freethrows. It made the day of Garcia, Cousins, and especially Greene who has done too little in the past 3 games to help this team.

I hope whoever over-reacted a few days or weeks ago and cried foul about Casspi being criticized for acting like a self-centered and selfish player can read all our posts now. I think he will realized it was not at all personal when Casspi was criticized. Credit is being given to whomever it is due and nobody should be exempted from criticisms especially if they deserve it and that is no matter what your race or political belief are. No favoritism and there should be no false sense of entitlement among the players.

BTW, we all love the Kings.

Go Kings!

I remember someone trying desperately to convince people here to not label Casspi with false stigmas, who that guy was? oh yea...

I just hope people will remember Casspi's(or any other player) good games the next time he'll have a bad one and won't be that quick to burn him on the stake.

Why is there no mention of Reke going 6-20? It's his sophmore year, we can't turn a blind eye to his in game shortcomings anymore. He doesn't look as explosive as he was last year.

As long as Big Cahuna doesn't approve it, this is some sort of taboo subject on this board.

There is no taboo when it comes to theboard. There are plenty of people who have written about Reke's shortcomings. You just are ignoring them because it doesn't fit your desired narrative

There are some taboo subjects, namely religion and politics. There are some rules re: posting ("don't be a jerk" being the big one). We can spam as soon as we see it.

Read the posting rules for anyone having questions. But in general Tetsujin is right, if it has to do with the Kings and is presented in the proper manner, and doesn't violate our basic posting rules, we tend to let it go.

I noticed that too(the after the 1st free-throw reactions).

Am not saying he does, and quite frankly I don't believe he was even a little happy about it and Donte is often the most loud and supportive player when he's on the bench to his teammates, and when he's on the floor too.

But the way he looked to a diff direction(assuming it was to someone else on the bench) and had the little smile was somewhat odd to me aswell in a first reaction when I saw it live... but like I said, I do not think it is about Casspi even though they got a competition between themselfs.. but when I first saw it live it looked odd to me aswell.. but thats from 1 time seeing it.
