I give it a B+
Before the draft, I wished Petrie gets a PG, a SF, and a backup big. These are our key weakness and I believe Petrie has addressed it pretty well. Although the personnels he brought in were not as I hoped for. But he did address the issue.
First off, he was able to get a trade from Portland for a PG who has serious court vision(just check how many great lob passes Rudy gets from Sergio) and craftiness.
The he drafts Evans at #4. I am not on the Evans bandwagon. But I respect this pick. Our Front Office and Petrie had a chance to compare all the top PGs and even Rubio paid the Kings his only work out. That is more than enough to give them right to pick the player for the Kings at number 4. Evans main question is his ball handling (esp. against small guards and his court vision), but as I see it the kid is still young at his age he is already bringing too much upside. I don't see him replacing Martin but rather playing as PG with Martin. He easily upgrades our defensive woes on the perimeter with his size. On the offensive end, even if he doesn't really pass too much, he is probably the biggest PG in the league right now and could easily post up any PG. And our bigs are already pretty decent passers.
The Casspi pick was almost predicted in a lot of mock drafts so it did not surprise me. He is a SF who should be able to get rotation minutes. And this would probably officially close rumors on resigning McCants by putting Garcia as the full backup SG. Casspi's game is close to Nocioni but his a bit taller and quicker which could mean he really will be staying at SF.
Brockman was a surprise. But I think is a good pick and is a sign that our front office are really aware of our needs of a banger. Although a bit undersized, I hope he develops into a great blue collar worker down low.
As I see it, as the draft ended, we got a backup PG(with pass first mentality), a potential starting PG(with exceptional size and potential), a rotation SF(who loves to finish at the rim), and a rotation PF(a bit undersized but could be in a mold of Paul Millsap with lesser lift).
Now let's start the summerleague, trade Beno, and get a solid big man FA(especially a Center, Gortat maybe?

)
And by the way, I think we just got the tallest, youngest, and mobile lineup in the NBA right now if we start Evans(6'5") at PG and Greene(6'10") at SF.
