Ive wondered if Davion is hurt or something, given how little he seems to be on their most dangerous player.

I think it’s ultimately his lack of offense. He’s been good for us, but the defense sags off of him and makes the half court smaller for everyone else

This game started at 5:30 am here, but if an early start is a Kings advantage i’ll take it. Trying to remain calm.
Klay sure gets to the line, but otherwise so far only one splash brother has shown up.

Agreed. You can’t expect Klay to keep missing. He’s a future HOF who can get hot at any second

Curry would have to work even harder against Davion and he'd never get those freebie drives TD is giving up.

For what it’s worth, Fox also did a great job guarding Curry in the last game. Maybe Brown was just trying to save Fox’s energy to take on the tough defensive assignment in the 2nd half.

I think Brown just simply rode the hot hand. This is now a game of long game vs. short game. Kerr is playing the long game, Brown the short. Brown now goes back to his starters who all sat for the majority of the 1st. This is a total battle of opposites, haha.

Yeah, this going to be interesting. He sat Barnes, Murray, and Davion a LOT in that first half and rode the Monk/TD chaos wave. Hopefully the others are ready if and when they are called upon. That's a lot of bench time in a crucial game. On the other side, Kerr didn't gamble, he basically stuck with his rotations.

I would not put it past Coach Brown to have two completely different game plans drawn up in advance just to completely confuse the Ls. Second half will be interesting. Keegan has already touched net so I'm not worried there.

Given the KINDS of 3's he takes, just unbelievable that he's 4-9. It's at the point where when Curry misses a legit, wide-open 3 - from almost any distance - I'm stunned.

As brilliant as Curry was in the first half, none of Golden State's other shooters were able to get going, so I'd be hesitant to switch the defense up too drastically.

Yup. The Warriors would luv for Mitchell to take a bunch of shots. They can't afford that risk with Davis

I dunno. HB and Davion also played low minutes in G6. Those guys losing their minutes to TD. HB will start the second half, but whether he gets back in after that stint -- we'll see. Ditto w/Davion after his first stint.

I think this may be the secret weapon. Just grind them down. You have to press EVERY advantage you can. This was a fairly obvious one.
