George Hill being shopped for a pick

I find it hard to believe they are looking to trade both of their PG's. Even though Hill isn't really a PG but still. Gotta love draft time, enough rumors to make the world seem like it's spinning.

I would give up the #7 pick for George Hill in a heartbeat. Get her done GP.

I like Geroge Hill, but once you get beyond the hype George Hill is 11pts 3ast of small combo guard. I am not enthused about this draft, but I don't think ever has been a draft where one or more players picked 7th or later weren't better than that. Not even the infamous 2000 draft with Mike Miller as ROY.

Hill is a good name. Good fit next to Evans I suppose, but he wouldnt be an upgrade over Beno or Thornton at this point. He has the potential to be better, but no way do I trade #7 for him.

I feel that players like Hill who come out of great systems like the Spurs are usually better players that they are on "paper" because they are usually the 4th or 5th option on that team. Beno was a good example of this. I just don't think we are in a position to draft a kid who might be good 2-3 years down the road. We know what Hill can give us right now and it's pretty much guaranteed that he will continue to get better in the next 5 years. There is just too much uncertainty in the draft this year.
