I thought Rudy/Derrick/Cuz/Casspi and Ben just killed us on offense with awful turnovers (I have never seen Cousins lose/get the ball knocked away as much as this season)and shot selection it was some of the lowest basketball IQ I have ever seen in particular from Rudy I can't remember a game where he hurt us this much. I mean Tim Duncan was just standing there waiting for them to come and get blocked because he knew none of them would kick the ball out and do the right thing.

I thought Ray/Dre did ok again until the game was blown apart.

I'm hoping Karl decides to move Rudy next year and get 2 solid role players who pass and defend.

I think there is a real chance they look to move Rudy in the summer his contract is team friendly and he's in his prime.

The major problem is that Karl is using Cousins as if he were Carmelo Anthony, driving from the top of the key/3 point line, along with driving and dishing, with an increased focus on outside shots. Cousins is not Anthony. He can not do what Anthony does nearly as effectively nor should he have to. He needs to be in the post, and I am concerned because Karl does not seem to be recognizing this.

I hate to say it, but Cousin's days may be numbered. Karl's system is clearly not suited for Cousins and I am not sure Karl is willing to adapt what won him 1000+ games in his career.

Cousins is at 20.8ppg and 8.2rpg under George Karl so far. only 2 double doubles in 5 games. feed the big man more plz............

Sample size.

1st game with Karl: Cousins destroys the Celtics to the tune of 31/15 in 35 minutes.
2nd game: The Clippers put the hurt on us. 21/4 in 25 minutes.... Cousins taken out early because most of the 2nd half was basically garbage time.
3rd game: Cousins fouls out in 24 minutes. Does that have anything to do with Karl/Pace? No...That is Cousins being dumb/Refs being haters.. 16/9 game.
4th game: 22/10 in 28 minutes. Cousins minutes are limited by the Knicks' being crap and Karl knowing we faced the Spurs the next day.
Tonight's game: 14/3. Cousins was in foul trouble/flustered most of the night. That can happen when you play the defending champs in their house. Pop definitely game plans for Cuz.

Soooooo..... I wouldn't worry. Not yet anyways.

People have this odd image of Karl being something that even Pop is not. George Karl is a BIG time let the stars do what they want coach. His guys have been some of the biggest chuckers in recent NBA history. He was the coach of Melo, and Melo/A.I., Big Dog, Ray Allen, and Payton. He's coached democratic teams at times, but this isn't a guy who freaks out about stars taking lots of shots. Its been his norm.

People need to realize, that Karl is trying to explore his personnel. I'm sure Kings can provide him with tape from pre-meningitis era, and at this point he's obviously pushing the limits to see, what his players can do, given how wild Kings look a lot of the time.

Karl said it himself there will be some games where they get blown out like they have in LA and today so here we are...this isn't the last of it.

Underestimate a Popovich team at your peril. I still would rather play Blazers, Rockets, Clippers, or Mavericks in the postseason than the Spurs.

I think the Kings squeak out a win here. McCallum is guarding a gimpy Tony Parker. I wouldn't be shocked to see McCallum win the individual matchup there.

Yeah about that ...
