I don't think he's ok with it, he just didn't really have any other options but in Ben's case he did since our two PG's were our two best players 2night. If Ray/Dre were not effective offensively than Ben probably plays more.

Side note. George Karl gives the most thoughtful answers in a crowd of reporters, that I've ever heard from an NBA coach. He's really into sharing as much as he can, with the fans.

These sort of comments always come out in games like this, but it's not really fair to judge us without our top 10 NBA player and 3rd best player who's been having a career year for us. And the fact we've had about 0 time under Karl. And the fact we've had three coaches this season.

I'm still convinced the core is already in place. Just needs time and an off-season under Karl to start making real progress towards wins. Not that we're close to being a championship caliber team or anything, but I think you could comfortably keep 7-8 guys on this team in a playoff rotation. Add a defensive big, a shooter, a scoring presence off the bench and we're cooking with fire.

That's a hard argument for Karl when Gay never passes up a shot, even when triple teamed.

I said in the post after he had to keep guys like Gay/Landry in there for scoring without DC/DMC in the game, the problem with Ben today was he was a). In foul trouble, b). took bad shots c). had the two best players on our team for that game both be guards.

Karl know's he can't change Rudy Gay (not god himself if he is real could),but I think he feels like he can help/change Ben and make him a better player.

Derrick Williams didn't so much get hot rather Andre Miller simply passed him into looking decent.
