Landry, I'll admit is ill equipped to play center, but he also has to play center when Sessions and Nik are the guards and are arguably the worst defensive pairing possible.
And yet that's even more of a reason to play Hollins at backup center.

There is still not one good reason I've come across on this forum as to why Carl and Reggie make more sense as a backup center. Not a single one.

That's the thing, though: he doesn't have to, that's just what ends up happening.
I get what your saying but Malone, as quoted in the paper, thinks that a bad offense is as much responsible for bad defense as anything...meaning he thinks Landry out there gives us a better chance at scoring and that is what he is choosing. I think he's just searching for the answer as much as anyone as Hollins is a bonafide center but a career stiff. I'm more perplexed by Ray not playing more than by Hollins playing more. Bottom line is that once you get past the starting 5 ...he's trying to piece it together.

Casspi is the only component bench player we have... Everyone else is crippingly bad at some or all facets of the game.

What these last two games have shown us is that the Kings are incapable of playing defense without DeMarcus....and not sure what's with the line up out there right now...who is supposed to do anything? Sessions hits the backboard on a shot and Nik can't shoot the ball all of a sudden.
