Cisco with a fractured right ring finger? That does not bode well... But it frees up playing time for the logjam of players at the 3...

Heal quickly, Cisco.

Not too worried about this. It's a fractured finger. He can still run. He needs to let it rest for 3-4 weeks and he'll be good

I did a somewhat fugly copy post thing to bring the broken finger discussion in the Cisco playing for his national team thread over to this one -- news of some significance that was buried in the other thread, and we had one for Beno's knee injury under similar circumstances. In any case, messed up the post order, but otherwise should work ok.

Thank you, Bricklayer. I was hoping someone would realize the two topics were related but deserved different threads. Anyways, here's to a speedy recovery for Garcia. ;)

charlie villanueva said it wasnt broken but sprained. the kings didnt want to risk any further injuries so they pulled the plug on him playing for the dr

Don't be in a hurry on getting ready for the season, Cisco. Take your time. The usual one or two games that you can win for us wouldn't be that much of a difference anyways. Besides, there is a terrible logjam at SF position and we want to see Evans play back-up SG too.

We need lots of playing time for Omri and Evans to break them in and develop them ASAP. The future is more important for now.:o

A little update on this as I just got a text from the Kings (just text "Kings" to 698-66 and they'll text you team updates). They say Cisco has been cleared to resume full basketball activities next week.
