Fox has broken Finger. Will play in game 5.

This also highlights a roster weakness to address for next year. We really have no rotation-level 2/3 wings. Ideally you would be able to slide one of your forwards down to give yourself more options, especially if the Warriors play 3 guards, but neither Keegan nor Barnes can check someone like Poole or Klay for more than a possession or two. I have no problem bringing back Barnes next year, but it is the reason I am not sure you can bring back Barnes and sign Sasha. At some point, one of your top three wings has to be a guy that can slide down to the 2 and play defense. Ideally you would have Keegan start at 4, a 2/3 wing start at the other wing, and then Barnes off the bench.

In any event, the guys on the roster with the speed to guard an opposing teams guards and play against three guard lineup are Fox, Mitchell, Delly, Huerter, Monk, TD, Dozier, Kessler. Given that you might need 3 on the court at any time, you need more than Mitchell, Huerter, and Monk. If Fox can't go, I'd love to see Dozier personally. Maybe a...

PG- Mitchell- 36; Monk- 12
SG- Huerter- 30; Monk- 18
SF- Keegan- 32; Dozier- 16
PF- Barnes- 36; Lyles- 12

But I bet Fox plays. He will try to gut it out.
I’m hoping Keon Ellis can fulfill that role for us in the future.

Well my hubby just called me with this heart and gut wrenching news. Normally I’m the first one but had things to do and thought I don’t want to deal with the mental back and forth …infact didn’t even post after Sundays one point loss…just got our Beam Team jerseys Saturday got our purple light the beam sticks out and counting the hours down till Wednesday. I’m full of emotions like everyone else and just going into the game “believing” it’s really been a roller coaster during these playoffs after our 17 year drought and after all those years who would’ve thought we’d be talking about this. It’s just been an awesome year of NBA and I think I’ll just sit here and say it’s not over until it’s over.

Guys have got to step up on Wednesday -- whether fox plays or not (I would guess it will impact his shooting regardless....) Golden one is going to be a freaking madhouse on Wednesday. It's got to be a complete team win. Can't count on Fox to bail us out.

This is the only thing we have left to do as Kings fans at this point. Believe in them and cheer as loud as we could for they needed our energy even more at this point. And just enjoy however the chips fall, knowing how much we already overachieved and that this is not an ending but a beginning to a potential dynasty era of the Kingdom.

I’m not even interested in “the next man up” and all that. I hope Fox plays, i can’t lie. Sorry. Davion and no one else at PG is so easy to defend. I’m unhappy right now so please ignore this and let me vent, thanks.

It'd be Davion and that guy who almost die trying to defend Steph back in 2015... haha

Probably because it hadnt been examined at that point.
Well no, he didnt have the x-ray yet.
Yes, but the fact that he wasn't in a lot of pain and icing it down after the game could be a good sign. If it's not super painful, he may be able to play with it.

I beleive Kobe and Curry has played with a broken finger before. Sabonis is playing with a broken thumb. It can be done.

Now we desperately need Heurter to finally perform like he normally can. Out of Heurter, Murray, and Barnes, we're gonna need at least 2 to have normal games. We can't afford disappearing acts from 2 of the 3.

Me neither. Hope he can go but if he can't I know he wants to. I'd like to see Davion get more time with Fox not replace him.

Anyways, I'm just glad its something easy to recover from if this is how we go out. But damn. He's a friggin superstar and the world is just getting to see.

Let Monk go for 50 with a green light.
Monk is just itching for a chance to start and go supernova. Like Fox, the Warriors have no one fast enough to keep up with him. The upside is, once he gets going, it opens up the rest of the floor for Huerter, Murray, Lyles, and Barnes. The downside is he has to guard one of Curry, Thompson, or Wiggins. He had the most success with Wiggins, I believe.

They could start Poole again. I don't know why they wouldn't, after winning two games with him in there. Monk matches up well with him

The Warriors runs late in the year almost always come at the injuries of others. They are a strange franchise. Their luck goes by seasons. They either have pretty decent luck when it comes to the lack of health of the competition or the worst luck of their own. Fox being the throwback that he is ain't sitting this one out I'd bet.

I think and hope Fox will play. Warriors very first title is because Kyrie and Kevin Love were injured. Cocky, arrogant SOB’s don’t deserve most of what they have.
