Why would the Raptors trade Lowry for MT? I think the Raptors doesn't need another scorer because they already have DeRozan which is far better than MT.

Yeah, I'd do that in a heartbeat. But there isn't any way that Thornton for Lowry trade takes place as I can't seeing them commiting to Thornton's salary when Lowry's coming off the books at the end of this season.
I wish that we could clear some salary to be able to free up cap space to go after Lowry in the off-season. But considering that we just made a trade with Toronto you've got to figure that either we have no interest in him or we don't have anything that Toronto wants for him, so I can't see a trade going down.
I also wonder what Gay thinks of Lowry. If he really likes him then he could always opt out of his contract to take a long-term deal with the Kings which could in theory free up some space to maybe make a run for Lowry in the off-season.

Their run post-Rudy trade may be really putting them in a difficult positon. I am 100% convinced their plan was to go tank and get Wiggins, but now they have run off a 9-3 record over their last 12, they are .500 now and would be the 4th seed and have homecourt advantage in the first round of the East "playoffs". And that fanbase up there is so starved for wins, for a good season, it is actually going to make it hard for them to blatantly tear it apart to get back to tanking without severely demoralizing everyone up there.

This summer Eric Bledsoe is probably going to receive a max contract from the Suns and they’ll probably will match any teams offer, but I was wondering what people thought about us going after him? I know we’re partially rebuilding (and the chances of us signing him is extremely/mostly unlikely), but do you think Pete will go after him (he is reaching for the fences)? Eric is also good friends with Demarcus.
