Hey, even your pessimism is a positive for me tonight cuz it means we won!piksi said:Win is what counts tonight.
other than that we are in deep, deep trouble
What trouble? I could not watch the game, just read VF's PBP.piksi said:other than that we are in deep, deep trouble
Apparently, in piksi's opinion, we have to beat the Hawks by fifty points. And outrebound them by a hundred. And anything less is a "disappointment." An opinion which he is entitled to have, and an opinion which I am entitled to say is patently ludicrous.funsc said:What trouble? I could not watch the game, just read VF's PBP.

Oh no! We only beat the Hawks by ten points; the sky is falling?![]()

Well, just the fact that we allowed 102 pts to the team in which Walker plays center is trouble by itself.

The Spurs also let Chris Kaman go for 21 and 14... there is no way they can win a chmpionship!(someone please tell them)bdouble013 said:Ooooo, can't argue with that logic!

We can revisit this after the road trip if You want to.
And this is relevant to my statement exactly how?piksi said:Did You watch the game ?

You have stated on numerous occasions in the past that it is your opinion that the Kings should blowout every sub-.500 team they play, and that if they do not, it is a disappointment in your opinion. Do you now aim to deny that this is so? That you ever said that? I don't need to see a game to know your opinion on this matter, not when you've stated your opinion several times in the past. I basically accused you of seeing the glass half-empty. And cracked. I defy you to prove that assessment to be incorrect.
I am not speaking from a "Pollyanna, glass-half-full" point of view; I am speaking from a "sick of your for-every-silver-lining-there-is-a-dark-cloud" point of view. Just because we didn't blow out the Hawks doesn't mean that we are in "deep, deep trouble." Now, if we had actually... oh, I don't know... *LOST* to the Hawks at home... *THEN* we'd probably be in "deep, deep trouble." Or, if we'd won, but lost one of our key players for the rest of the season, *THEN* we'd be in "deep, deep trouble." Winning a game by double-digits without one of your two best players is not grounds for "deep, deep trouble."
