First Game

Is the first game against New Orleans going to be televised. I looked on the schedule and there's nothing for local ot national tv. Not even direct tv. If this game isn't televised I'll be pissed, even though they play the day after.

Noticed that same thing. Am hoping/assuming its because it was a late switch in the wake of Katrina and they just haven't settled on how its going o be covered yet. But for the opener for both teams not to be picked up by ANYBODY would just suck.

I know, I looked further down in the schedule and the next time they play New Orleans in Oklahoma it is televised by CSN. I'm hoping that they do this for the first game. I also went on the Hornets website and none of their games are televised. I'll be bummed because I waited 6 months for the season to start and now I'll miss the first game.

BTW, I never missed a game last year. Watched all 82 plus the playoffs. I know I have no life.

Nope your not alone. I skipped some classes just to watch a kings game. That's why were called "Die Hard Kingsfans"!

i missed 2 games last year. I tivo most of the games during the week...start about an hour and a half in. I can watch a game in about an hour 20 mins. So most of the time i catch up and catch the end live.

There was once last year when I had a football game. It was the game that they played the pistons here and won. I missed the first half but I taped it and watched the first half and caught up to watch the end of the game. I hate doing that though. There are sometimes when I watch the game in full and then watch the replay that is on afterwards. Actually i do that everygame. HEHE!!

This is my first year of getting LP. Thankfully I can/am this year, as those 19 or 20 cable games wouldn't be enough for sure. Plus I've been into the NBA more than ever since this past season, and want to see a bunch of teams/players (rookies, sophmores).

Damn y'all got it good. Get to watch most of the games and s%*^! I wish I could watch that many games.

BTW, they should nationally televise that first game against the hornets just for katrina victims' sake.

Guilty... I think there were like 5 games I could not watch, but had the radio on and the PBP running on the computer... I have TOO MUCH life!

thats a nice little routine here...cant wait till i get directv and tivo and maybe do the same (except catch as many live as i can)

Y'all may have WATCHED them all, but I LISTENED to them all with audio league pass / inside ticket on NBA.com. Now that's NO LIFE!!!!

You're right...you win. :D

That's dedication!

Wish I was that fortunate! I saw the few that were televised nationally and didn't listen to any, no pc at work!:( It sucks.

I don't have TiVo, but I don't think I missed many games in their entirety. I love that Comcast Sports Net reruns games, for the occasions I missed some games or the beginning of some games. And yes, I've watched some games again right away, hahahahaha.

I actually took some vacation time off work to get home in time to catch tip-off for some of those eastern games. Certain people I know, think I'm ridiculously addicted to the Kings....they're right! :p

I can't believe we got people arguing about who's got LESSER of a life. Hahahahaha.

If I had the chance to watch them all, I probably would.

Depends on where you live. In the Sac area or certain parts of California, Nevada and Oregon, it's on channel 34.

Outside of those areas, you'll have to get league pass for $169 (total, not per month).

If you are outside those areas and get the channel called Comcast SportsNet West (CSNW or CSW I think), then you might get lucky and be able to catch some of the pre-season games and some of the replays that they forget to black out.

bibbyweb - If you get the Comcast expanded basic you should get Comcast Sports West as part of it. I know my mom - who lives in Davis - does.
