Purple Reign - I want Theus gone because it's clear to me he's not the right coach for our team.
I don't plan on us grabbing a better coach in mid-season. I'd like to see us bring in an interim coach to focus on playing the kids and at least pretending to show some consistent and cohesive focus on defense.

You're right, they don't. When you have a coach like Phil Jackson, Gregg Popovich or Jerry Sloan, coaching is the least of your worries.
We don't have those gentlemen, however, so comparing our situation to theirs doesn't make much sense.
This all rests solely on Reggie's shoulders, not any of ours.
IF Reggie started playing the kids in a manner that doesn't resemble rotation by dart-board, he'd receive a lot less criticism.
IF Reggie quit saying it's always about winning, he'd receive a lot less criticism.
You're saying that for you it's about consistency. That's fine, unless what you're seeing is consistent bungling - and that's what a lot of us are upset about. Excuses can only last so long. Reggie IS continuing to make the same kinds of errors but, in the opinion of many, he's also compounding those errors by what sure looks like passive-agressive coaching. Some of the minutes the kids have received lately look like nothing logical unless you read in the "Okay, you want minutes for the kids? I'll give you freaking minutes. Now get off my back."
Is that the only interpretation? Nope. Is it the right one? I don't think any of us know.
All we know - and are expressing - is a growing discontent with the whole situation, and this time it's not about the players.
We're the fans; we're the ones who pay to put our butts in the seats to watch. I know I won't be coming down to Sacramento unless I'm fairly certain I'll see heart and hustle, energy and enthusiasm AND at least fair minutes for the future of the team.
It's not about the winning ... or the losing. It's about effort; it's about watching a young team improve and grow; and it's about a coaching staff that apparently can talk the talk but not walk the walk.
