Highly doubt it.Bobby Jackson
Highly doubt it.
He's perfect for the tank, just keep Keon out of his doghouse and bench the vets. Their value wouldn't dwindle down, they have nothing to prove, everyone knows them.

That's not the point, the point is it keeps the dogs off Perry's trail a little longer. No coach is taking a group of players just waiting to be released from this dumpster fire anywhere. Ain't happening. All they have to do is get the young guys on the floor and develop. Christie can't even do that right from the looks of it unfortunately.
Admittedly, I’ve not watched this team play lately and have only seen a few plays here and there. But if DC is as bad as the OP and others suggest — you’d think they’d over-the-moon about it.
The pro-tank crowd seemingly finally has their tank commander and roster that’s dreadful enough to land top 3 lottery odds yet they still aren’t happy. Go figure.
Yup and though Perry is far from perfect and has already proven that, he deserves more time. The dude just walked in the door and we’re about a month out from being able to make certain trades anyhow. The “tank” crowd should be elated with all of these losses. That's true and while there is tanking, this is getting to the point where even if Perry is using DC as a shield this is going to splash back so hard on him that it's inevitable. The benefit about this is then Perry is at least exposed to the elements. Then the real clock starts ticking.
I agree with you and we still haven’t seen them play even 20 games yet. I’m all for everything you said and hopefully it can happen sooner than later but the fact that it’s still November and I’m kind of numb to all this, i guess that’s why I’m not shaking my fists at the sky in agony.I've said it before and I'll say it again: there's losing in the manner the Kings are currently losing, and then there's losing well. You can angle for a top draft pick while not becoming a national embarrassment with a rotation heavy on apathy and lacking any semblance of chemistry or desire to coalesce as a team. Instead, maybe prioritize minutes for the younger talent on the roster, who aren't likely to move the needle in the win column, but will surely compete in a manner far less humiliating than... whatever that was tonight. "Tanking" doesn't have to mean the absolute obliteration of your franchise's reputation.

Most of these apathetic older guys ain’t gonna be here for long.
I want to start the FIRE PERRY thread because that jerk deserves the hate way more than Doug.
Doug’s situation makes me so salty, this is going to be what he’s remembered by and it isn’t remotely his fault.
The Dennis Schroeder signing is disgusting. Even if he was playing halfway decent, it wasn’t at all necessary to add an oldhead vet role player to the third oldest roster in basketball. And it certainly wasn’t necessary to trade away a somewhat useful piece to save money to make this utterly unnecessary move.

What would that be?Maybe the next coach brings a system that plays to the strengths of the current roster.
