Would like to see the Kings both Farmar and J.J. or one of these 2 players?

They both would be a good fit to the team.

It would not be beyond the pale for this to happen, but I'm not sure what either would bring to the team. I, for one, would like for the next SG we acquire to be a strong defender. Redick is anything but a strong defender - by DRTG he has been the worst or second-worst defender on the Magic for four years running, and he's putting up mediocre to bad DRTGs on a great defensive team, which is a surefire sign that he's getting torched consistently. So, shooting (outside shooting at that - inside the arc his percentage is not good) and nothing else? Sign me up...for maybe a million and the understanding that he's a ten-minute-or-less guy.

As far as Farmar goes, if he were to come here, he'd be the third string behind Evans and Udrih. I wouldn't mind that, but I would bet that he's looking for more playing time, not less. So unless the market dries up completely for him, he won't come here.

Reasonable options, but I think we're unlikely to spend on two guys of that level. We do have two spots to fill, but at least one will probably be more on the training camp invitee level. If a straight 3rd string PG is picked up, he's going to be buried because of the versatility of our existing guards.

Neither. Farmar has already peaked as a (mediocre) player and J.J. Redick gives the team nothing that it doesn't already have.

As the days go by I think I'm really fine with GP sitting on this money this FA season. It's been awhile since we've even had money to throw around and for GP not to have wasted it yet is a sign that he really feels content with letting this squad gel together and see where they go from here.

Reddick would be fine on a reasonable contract. Korver might be a better fit, though. I want absolutely no part of Farmar. He is really a terrible player. When even Lakers fans, who grossly exagerrate the ability of all their players, don't like him - you know he sucks.

I don't get some people wanting him. He's really awful.

It's not that he's awful he's just inconsistent and thinks too highly of himself. He wants to start and get paid, but he isn't worth any of that at this stage in his career. He's going to be a career backup pg, the minute he realizes that he will find himself with a contract that fits his worth in the league.

I would take Redick. He doesn't defend much but the dude can flat out shoot and we could really use a shooter.

As for Farmar, I wouldn't touch him. He's been tainted with Laker blood.

No on Farmar, he'd be third string. Redick could come off the bench and stretch the floor, but don't we want Omri to do that? Not that they both couldn't, but how about some defense off the bench? I like Redick, though. He really turned it on and shot lights out in the playoffs the last two years. If we were just looking for a sniper, he'd be a great fit, but I think we need someone with a little more versatility. And I obviously don't want to spend $30 million on a backup swing man.
