My keeper league drafts in preparation for its sevenths season today, and we still haven't had two of our returning managers RSVP. I can't put the draft off any longer, due to other commitments, but if I don't hear back from them before long, I'm going to be looking for replacement managers.

The problem is, this being a keeper league, any replacement manager would need to be willing to accept a pre-determined roster; there won't be any way to arrange for a re-draft after today... So, it could definitely be considered an unfavorable situation, but I know that there are some hardcore fantasy leaguers out there. PM me if you're at all interested.

Well... no, not exactly. But, like I said, I'm going to give the other managers a chance to say whether they're coming back or not. I'm putting out feelers because it hasn't been determined whether I'll actually need replacement managers or not. If I do need replacement managers, they'll have to be people who are willing to accept an already-set roster.

Hi...I might be intersted. Can you give me more details on the costs involved, and how the league is set up? Also, can you give me a link to all the rosters so I can see how my potential team would stack up?

It's not a pay league; you just have to be willing to accept a pre-set roster, as you'd be replacing a manager who's gone AWOL from my keeper league. As to how it's set up, it run on Yahoo, so it's set up about like that.

I may be interested as well. I've never been in a fantasy league with Yahoo, so how does it run? Are there trades allowed? How many players to a team? (I'm also assuming this is basketball we're talking about)

I would rather not do that, and let me explain why: my league does a linear draft offline, as opposed to the snake draft that Yahoo does, so whoever finished in last place picks first in every round, who ever finished thirteenth picks second in every round, et cetera.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that either roster is bad, but if I posted the rosters, I would probably only get one volunteer, and I need two. That's why I said that the first one to commit would get their pick.

Well, I have officially heard back from one of my managers from last year, and he has declined to participate this season... So I will definitely need a minimum of one replacement.

My keeper league drafts next week, and I need to replace three of my managers from last year who are not returning. Unlike last year, since we don't draft until next Saturday (1900 EST), I don't need people to be willing to select a full roster, but you will need to be willing to select from three groups of previously selected keepers.

PM me if interested. As with last year, the first person to commit gets first dibs on which set of keepers they want.
