Fandemonium....

Eh. Don't read too much into that. Q & R are almost certainly going to be defeated but it most likely means that we go back to the drawing board again, not that the Kings announce they're leaving the day after the election tallies. For one, Stern has to approve the move and he has never let a popular team leave a city before. It could happen, but we aren't there yet.

Arena deals are always complicated.
Stern has already said in plain english that if it came down to it he would approve the move. The Maloofs have worked at this for 6 years with no resolution and they aren't just unhappy with the arena, it literally won't be approved by the NBA pretty much after this season from what I understand. So, yes Stern will approve the move anytime after Q & R fail if the Maloofs decide to do so.

No, he hasn't said in plain English that if it came down to it he would approve the move. Again I remind people of what happened in Houston. And, ironically, it was John Thomas doing the initial negotations for the Houston Rockets. If Q & R don't pass there won't be a lot of time left to come up with a new plan. BUT there will be some time. And while Arco is becoming less and less acceptable, Stern isn't likely to come out and condemn it for NBA use.

Our first fandemonium was last year and we thought it was dumb (that's the only word I can think of to describe it). We went again this year to take a friend who really wanted to go. We are glad we did! It was fun, great to see all the new players and see how all were faring--it was funny to see the great dog races--and it was great to be back at Arco. For those of you who felt "been there, done that", you missed out! It was a great evening.

Fandemonium is for season-ticket holders. The only way you go is if you can get tickets from one of them.

One of the cool things about the Fandamonium, was that fans were able to purchase Kings tickets in advance before they go on sale to the public on Sat.
That is a first & I thought a great idea. Since I work Sat.
I picked up 3 games & of course 1 is the Lakers, gotta see that match-up at least once a season!

They were also given to those of us that were invited to a reception for Group Leaders who had organized group events for the Kings/Monarchs.

This is the first year in a LONG time that there are actually tickets above the minimum amount they are suppossed to hold out for sale to the public. In past years, those seats were already sold.....to season ticket holders.
