Have fun and make sure you let them know how much we ALL enjoy getting back to the basics of Kings basketball - effort, hustle and FUN!!!

:D

Interesting. I heard a completely different attitude from someone who was thoroughly entertained. I guess it's a matter of what you're expecting.

From what I've heard so far, they had team tricycle races with Bibby and Kevin on the trikes and Douby and Garcia partnered with them respectively. Bibby and Kevin did the racing, and they had to wait until their partners hit threes to complete the race. I was told Kevin and Garcia won.

In addition, players were handing out goodies on the concourse and there was a half-court shot contest that paired players with kids from the audience. When the player hit the shot, the partner received - I think - an iPod.

I like the idea of the team actually doing more fun stuff.

In my experiences with fandemonium, it seems to be an event geared towards families and kids. I have no kids yet, so for me, fandemonium has always been very boring, and I refuse to go to them. I have gone to 2 of them, and they always dissapoint me, so I give my tix away to a friend that takes his kid.

The best one was the first year with JWill and Vlade and CWebb here, they lets us sit wherever we wanted and they played a full game. It was fun and intense.

We have gone the last 3 years. Last year's was better, but this is really for the families and kids. So many kids in costume this year--pumpkins to decorate, face painting and all of the players out with huge bowls of candy for all and as much as you want. You could have pictures with players, dancers, Slamson, etc. and many many did. We enjoy kids and since we live in the woods with nary a trick-or-treater, it was fun. Free give-a-ways and a chance for kids that paired up with players at center court game, $100 and an iPod. All got an iPod. Petrie, Reggie and Spencer Hawes had short speeches. It is a "don't have high expectations" type of event and it changes each year. Annie.

I have a friend who buys many of my Kings tickets and since she has a son, I always give her the fandemonium tickets to her. I have always thought that fandemonium is mostly for the kids.
