I've heard this line thrown out there quite often, but is it really fair? People say we purposely pushed for the 20-5-5 thing last at the expense of team play and wins in general. They say he can't use his teammates. Shouldn't be a pg, yada yada yada. And I'll be the first to say that he's been playing bad this year and not helping much, but he is injured. And last year we were coming off a 17 win season. To get off to a 13-14 start was amazing and that was with tyreke doing his thing. We tailed off and that is expected with a young team.
I feel like I'm dragging this out so what I'm trying to say is what do you expect out of someone so young who mind you has shown us that when he's on we can be a pretty good team to do? I mean look at Blake griffin, dude is balling out of his mind yet the clippers have the worst record in the league(with more established players than we do).
I still think that we need tyreke to be tyreke if we ever wanna be a legitimate playoff team. A great pg won't just magically fix this team. It needs time and needs Reke to heal up.
