I hope he has more success with the Kings draft picks. I also Perry was with the Detroit Pistons in 2003 when they drafted Darko Milicic, though I don't know how much input he had. That, along with Marvin Bagley, had to be one of the worst 2nd picks in NBA history, To be fair, he also drafted Kevin Durant (Seattle Supersonics) and DeAaron Fox (Kings) along with Justin Jackson, Harry Giles and Frank Mason.

Yeah other than Mitchell Robinson, his picks have consisted of no brainer top of the lottery picks or busts.

To me what the Kings did with that 10 pick was maybe as bad as than others. So may good rotation players in that mid draft and Kings couldn’t hit on even 1 of them.

I don't disagree. I also get the sense of a chicken/egg argument regarding players drafted and development. Did we draft poorly, or just fail to develop some of the players? It makes sense that players like Fox/Cousins seemed to develop almost in spite of who we had on the sidelines, but for some of the other "what ifs", I can't help but wonder what Giles would have looked like developing under Pop, for example.
