Fire the DAMN MAGOOFS! Get rid of their asses!

Fire the owners? How does that work? Geoff pulled the trigger. He has been infatuated with Gooden for some time now. Honestly would be in favour of a change in GM, I have no faith in Petrie. This is crazy.

I can't believe we couldn't have done better. Some cap relief and Nocioni for Salmons and Miller... i wanted a change but this is crap. Disappointed, confused, whatever wake me when the draft comes.

First of let me say this sucks. We just partially screwed ourselves for the off season of 2010, and now were stuck with Nocioni through the 2011 season, with our option to dump or keep for 2012.

Second of all I thought Portland was supposed to be involved sending us Ike Diogu, which would be cool.

Third of all this trade puts me on the fence in regards to continuing to be a Kings fan. This trade shows that our owners, nor our GM have no idea what they are doing.

I refuse to be a Cubs fan/Clippers fan/ Insert crappy team that always screws themselves.

It is starting to look like Geoff got lucky a few times in the past, and that's about it.

I like this deal. As I've already said in another thread, if this is the best deal out there, do it. And I like it for several reasons:

1. Gooden is expiring and reduces the cap next year. Plus, he's a much better mentor and locker room guy than the stoned Miller. Hawes will not be learning to take the 3-pt shot from Gooden, that's for sure.

2. Get rid of two guys who don't fit. Good luck Bulls, but Miller and Salmons are not guys who help you win games.

3. Since Noc also plays PF, more likely that Mikki will not be back.

4. Reduces the chance that Petrie signs some scrub SF with the MLE to replace Salmons.

5. Noc brings some much needed hustle and toughness. His contract sucks, but it's not the end of the world and probably wont have much affect on the rebuild.

6. I really, really doubt any team is dumb enough to give us anything better for our crap. I always thought if Petrie could swing a pick and/or young talent out of our garbage then he should be GM of the Year.

yeah.. instead he gets him before the offseason! and with a contract slightly higher than the MLE. yay!

In an attempt to consolidate the comments on what is now apparently a done deal, I'm closing this in favor of the thread in the main forum...
