Listening to ESPN 710 in LA around 3pm today (Thur ) the on air guys verified from 2 diff sources"There will be a change at the top" in Clips organization and their guess is Dunleavy could be fired. They then agreed w/ea other that Byron Scott would make sense. Getting out of car now so....????

I'm hoping we can steal away Cave Man from them while they are in disarray!

So he's still going to be GM? Well I suppose that's a good thing for the rest of the league. :)

I don't know that he's been that awful as GM. He's overpaid a few guys, but overall, he hasn't been terribly off when it comes to draft picks and acquisitions. I think his worst attribute was his coaching, but he could be okay if he's limited to the front office.

I thought he only became GM after Elgin Baylor left in 2008, so the only draft pick he's made as GM was Blake Griffin first overall (who hasn't played in a single NBA game yet). He was the one who brought in Zach Randolph last year and muffed up the Baron Davis/Elton Brand duo by trying to cut out Brand's agent. I suppose it was for the best he didn't have to spend that money on Brand and Memphis bailed him out by taking Zach Randolph, but the Clippers team he put together last year was pretty ghastly.

You're right. It felt like it had been 3 or 4 years. I don't blame him for the Elton Brand deal. I don't think Elton wanted to be a Clipper anymore, and I don't think the Clippers were willing to pay him what the Sixers did, agent or not.

I suppose if it was going to be one or the other, they're probably better off with him as GM. I don't think he's a terrible coach overall, but his style of deliberate offense doesn't work at all with the players he's assembled.
