Draft Lottery

Where is VF to tell us everything is okay because we are still yur Kings?!?!

Every god damn year. Why can't we ever sneak a 3rd pick even? Have we only once ever moved up? Pervis Ellison?

Whatever

How many damn times will the Cavs win the lottery?! What a ****ing joke.

Our miserable *** roster could only land us the 7th pick? Trade that ****.

How do the Cavs get the #1 pick in 2011 and #2013 and yet we haven't moved up in like 20+ years? WHY!!!!!

Not even the gods of karma like Sacramento. It's an uphill battle but screw 'em. We've got Cuz!!!

We've got spare parts to move up even if it's one spot. Is it worth it?

I can't believe the constant stress of being a fan of this team. The new ownership better be a ray of light.

I still claim the stupid thing is rigged. The NBA needs to have better set rules to get teams OUT of the lottery instead of us being in it for 7 years in a row and never having a damn top 3 pick. How is that even possible?

Wow, 7th as projected. I thought sure it was our time to land a top 3 pick. And how about Cleveland for the 3rd year in a row at or near the top.

People always want to bet on the longshots...

At this point, I'll be very interested in seeing if there are some draft day trades on the table for the Kings. Sure wish it was a deeper draft, so we'd have a better chance of snagging a good player in exchange for our #7 pick.

That's the problem. Now I see the difference between 6 and 7. Now let's see if Petrie or his replacement sees something the rest of us haven't seen. It's happened before. I refuse to be negative!

This pretty much sums everything up. I don't think there's a team in NBA history that's constantly kicked in the nuts as much as the Kings franchise. It's absolutely bizarre at this point. It's not that the odds were hugely against this happening, it's just that it happens so damn often. It's surreal. You'd think just once the balls would bounce our way.

I really hope Petrie drafting despite the bad luck the last two years. I am pretty sure the bad owners had something to do with that. We are going to need a steal and I wouldn't
want anyone else to try to get it.

First Cle gets the top pick the year Lebron declares.

Then when he leaves as a FA, they get two #1's in the next three years.

Definitely raises an eyebrow or two.

All of Noel/McLemore/Oladipo/Porter/Burke will be gone. Very open to trading the pick now but it won't be as valuable. Meh. Being a Kings fan really isn't easy.
my thoughts exactly. if we cant have one of those players, this draft is worthless.

or trade up to get porter

Cleveland throws a hissy fit when Lebron chooses another team in free agency and they get two #1 picks and two #4 picks in three years. Unbelievable. I'm glad we still have a team, but can we get even an ounce of good luck?

Sacramento Kings ‏@SacramentoKings 11m
This is the 6th time in Sacramento-era history the team has landed the No. 7 pick and 4th time it has dropped one spot in the Lottery.

The Kings have netted lucky No. 7 more times than any other Lottery selection in the Sacramento era. #KingsAllDay

Now we draft a tall skinny guy. I am not that familiar with who is available but we have so many guards I can't imagine us drafting a guard as a can't imagine a guard 7th or worse that is that good to change our mind from taking a risk on a possible shot blocker. We have to get a shot blocker somewhere. Get a tall guy a pray, I suppose. Not the worst idea in the world. We've got to work with what we have been given.

We have two guys to build a team around. Most teams don't have that. As I said, I refuse to be negative.

Now lets tell Smart not to return to his home in Sacramento and get ourselves a coach.

First off, I'm used to this franchise being cursed, and expect every f******* year to be picking the same or worse than projected... What separated this year from years past is that I thought karma was indebted to us for putting up with this Seattle ****

Lol. See! Admit it. Even you are pissed right now.

Only frustrated that you continually try and drag my positive attitude into things. I don't care about the lottery pick. Honest. We got #7 - KEVIN JOHNSON'S NUMBER - in the lottery for a very weak draft. We aren't going to get into the playoffs with the draft pick from 2013.

And yes, I guess I need to remind you once again that we could have just seen the Seattle Sonics get the #7 pick.
