Carter and Knecht were 2 of my favorite prospects in this draft.

Cody Williams is more an upside play, but there's super intriguing skill-sets there.

Didn't look at Matas at all, but certainly would qualify as an upside swing.

I thought it was a cool pick. Imagine thinking you're going to grow your career with Wembanayama one second, then getting traded elsewhere. Does somebody inform them prior?

I think Matas might have the highest upside in the entire draft. Reminds me of a raw AK47 a little.

I think their outlook is that they got their guy in Castle, no need to bring in any more rookies from a weak draft when they plan to fill holes in free agency anyway.

May as well kick the can down the road given how young Wemby is anyway.

Carter is a pretty good player, but seems a poor fit. At this point, all the guys I hoped would fall are gone, so I'm on board with a trade if something works out.

I'm glad. Didn't shoot it well, wasn't the ball handler he was billed to be, had tunnel vision as a passer, and was a poor man defender. Lots of ways to bust and very few paths to succeed.
