Down to the wire and other news, rumors, etc.

Relocation in NBA terms means the city the team currently is in isn't fit for the NBA anymore. The Sac group answering and satisfying the NBA with everything, how can the NBA come out and say that Sacramento isn't fit anymore
In medical terms they are doing a battery of test to see if Sacramento has been terminally Maloofed or if a simple George-ectomy can save the patient.

Hansen will not withdraw his offer and lose the ability to go after the $30M deposit he gave the Clowns. The only way he would withdraw is if part of the Sacramento offer is refunding him the $30M (which seems to be the case based on previous reports).

Withdrawing has nothing to do with losing the deposit. In order for the Maloofs to keep the deposit they have to prove they were damaged by Hansen backing out. So if they get the same amount of money from the Sacto group they weren't damaged.

Man, I don't mean to sound critical, or unsupportive of Jason Collins and his decision, but he sure has some ****ty timing, IYAM. Every time NBA TV breaks programming for "Breaking News," I start freaking the **** out, and then they re-cap the Collins story, and I'm, like, "This **** again?"

I'm with you, good for Jason Collins (take that Phil Jackson), but that is hardly breaking news.

What about the announcement that the NY Jets have waived Tim Tebow!?!?!?!?

Been here about 20 times today, Sitting on pins and needles. For any Kings Fans who also happen to be Robert Jordan “ Wheel of Time” readers I say “Dovie’andi se tovya sagain!” It’s time to roll the dice!

Gee. And here I was expecting a timely press conference announcing the entire decision in total detail, leaving no mysteries whatsoever.

RT @kpelton Source indicates the combined finance/relocation committees conference call has wrapped up. No word on outcome.

Ack! Gotta leave for work in 10 minutes! Lets get the leaked outcome tweet already!!!

Then again, I do live/work in downtown Seattle, so I'll probably hear it via word of mouth within an hour or so of the decision getting out there.

Called in sick today. Turns out I wasn't lying. I'm ****ing sick to my stumach!

Lets get this over with, Kings fans deserve better!

Note; KPelton is an NBA Analyst for ESPN Insider.

If/when stuff starts coming out, I'll post the info on who's who.

@kenkdscomm A 7-5 vote in favor of relocation would be luke-warm endorsement. In that scenario, Sacramento probably wins before 30 owners.

EDIT: This is NOT a report of the recommendation. It is ONLY an answer to a "what if" question. - VF21

VERY MISLEADING. This is not a report of the committee recommendation. It's an answer to a hypothetical question.

Come on, folks. Please be careful what you post. People's sanity is at stake here.

Crap. Well, I'm outtie....

Good luck fellow Kings fans!!!! All we can do is maintain optimism until its announced that we're keeping the team! :)

NOT THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION!!!!! It was an answer to a "what if" question ONLY!!!!

Guess I should have added to the tweet before posting it. McCann was in no claiming to know the vote. He was pointing out that once the vote is known Sacramento retains the advantage even in a close vote in Seattle's favor. THERE HAS BEEN NO LEAK YET.

Sorry to confuse anyone.
