Relocation in NBA terms means the city the team currently is in isn't fit for the NBA anymore. The Sac group answering and satisfying the NBA with everything, how can the NBA come out and say that Sacramento isn't fit anymore
Hansen will not withdraw his offer and lose the ability to go after the $30M deposit he gave the Clowns. The only way he would withdraw is if part of the Sacramento offer is refunding him the $30M (which seems to be the case based on previous reports).
Withdrawing has nothing to do with losing the deposit. In order for the Maloofs to keep the deposit they have to prove they were damaged by Hansen backing out. So if they get the same amount of money from the Sacto group they weren't damaged.
Man, I don't mean to sound critical, or unsupportive of Jason Collins and his decision, but he sure has some ****ty timing, IYAM. Every time NBA TV breaks programming for "Breaking News," I start freaking the **** out, and then they re-cap the Collins story, and I'm, like, "This **** again?"

If this doesn't put it into perspective, nothing does:
Scott Moak @AnnouncerScott16m Have you ever been in a situation where you've been waiting to see if you were going to be fired? If you haven't...don't try it.
Guess I should have added to the tweet before posting it. McCann was in no claiming to know the vote. He was pointing out that once the vote is known Sacramento retains the advantage even in a close vote in Seattle's favor. THERE HAS BEEN NO LEAK YET.
