Doug and K-Mart

rainmaker

Hall of Famer
I thought this was an interesting story http://www.sacbee.com/sports/story/1748841.html. I have always thought Kevin could learn a lot by working with Doug. Doug seems to be pretty high on Kevin, and believes he has the tools to dominate an nba game. Kevin definately has the tools to become a much better all-around player, and a better defensive player. Given that Doug has approached Kevin's dad, and said 'Anytime you guys want me, I'm at your disposal', Kevin would be crazy not to take him up on the offer.

hope kev takes it up, wouldnt mind the kings brining him in. The guys need help with 1 on 1 D. Martin and Donte, Beno could all use some help

Just those 3? I think most of the team needs help, with the exception of maybe Cisco and Noce.

the whole team does in general but id say hed work with our guards and small forwards. JT and Hawes need to continue there work with reef and work on rebounding and holding up the lane

Vlade is coming back to live in the states when his boys go to college. Maybe, we can get him to coach the bigs. And, since JWill hasn't caught on with any team, we can get him to coach Beno.

I would rather have Bobby coach Beno, although his presense doesn't seem to have done much at this point. But I don't think JWill would help at all.

Doug is the only player I've ever wanted back as a coach or otherwise. I believe he can positively effect the team and would have the skills and knowledge to teach. I like plenty of our former players, but Doug is the one with the right skills to warrant a coaching position.

Sounds like we're wanting the whole good team back as coaches. This isn't the junior kings of 99 you know...

I see alot of Doug in Kmart, I think he can become a good defender. maybe not a lock down the best player type. but a better all around player.
