It's a trend. Guys play well for 2...3....4 games...and they go to the Witness Protection Program for about 2 to 3 weeks after that.

that is so true. it seems like there's always one or two guys who do a helluva job while the other suck. we have to figure out some pattern so that we know which guys will have big games every night so that we can somehow communicate it to Musselman. that way, we can figure out when, say Artest for example, is gonna go for 30 points and shut down the other teams best guy. then we can tell Muss, who will promptly bench Ron for having two personal fouls with a minute left in the half

actually, thats not such a bad move. depending on the score, and the situation at the half, many coaches do take out their stars with 2 fouls in the final couple possessions to ensure that they do not pick up the third. if you watch a lot of basketball, youll see htis happen occasionally.
