Imagine if Davion Mitchell just 2-3 inches taller. Being short listed 6'0 (I say 5'11) is his only limiting factor in the NBA. It worked for him at Baylor but not now. I like Davion a lot as a defensive stopper but offense will always be issue at the pro level. Unfortunately, I don't think he'll ever be Kings automatic go to 6th man like officially listed 6'1 Bobby Jackson was for Kings during glory years.

In all fairness Bobby Jackson did not make a jump until his 4th or 5th year. He couldn’t shoot when he first came into the league.

And Bobby was also an older rookie, coming out of Minnesota at 23. There's reason to still believe that Davion can make a jump, especially given his gym rat approach.

We get a little impatient with rookies sometimes. Davion is still on a great path and has a ton of upside. Nowhere close to a bust. He has till the end of next year to prove his value.
