Do you see the Kings signing anyone for the remainder of the season?

With Hickson's departure, do you see the Kings picking up anyone off the waiver wire to play the rest of the season? I could see them doing it if the player was either a good prospect (on a team loaded with prospects, it would have to be a pretty interesting prospect) or a roleplayer of some type.

thoughts?

Only if they need to add salary to meet the min requirement.

Do they? That was one thing that immediately came to mind when they waived Hickson.

It would be very close with Hickson's salary off the books, but I think they prorate over the season, right? I'm not actually sure the salary comes off the books if he's waived anyway.

Either way, if we're a few tens of thousands under the floor, we just pay that salary out, no biggie.

C'mon, who doesn't love Chapu?

Haha. Nothing makes a highlight reel more exciting than clip after clip of layups and shots. Although, in all fairness, I think there was a block in there about a minute in.

Good point.

It's actually salary paid so whatever the buyout amount paid.

Per Amick, Kings to pick up Terrence Williams. Yay small ball

We can always hope that he spends his time at the 3. If not, then I think that's a pretty strong indication of what Smart's long-term ideas. I think we should have looked for a backup PF/C, or at least see if Whiteside will get some more minutes.

Technically no.:p They only signed him on a 10 day contract not the rest of the season !
True, but he is a good gamble. He has EVERYTHING to lose here and he is not on his way out of the league for not having the ability to play, but the ability to make good decisions. Hopefully, this will be a wake up call for him and he will pan out great. All of the doubters, however, will expect him to be the same guy he was in Houston and be out of the league by the end of this season.
