There is nothing that can be said about this.

Not only is he a terrible pitcher, but hes a terrible team player.

A closer isn't supposed to need 2 runs to slam the door.

He's blown 6 out of 19 chances...Thats not good.

Then on top of that, he just blames everyone else for his problems.

Those in the crowd who were still around by the ninth booed embattled closer Armando Benitez after he struck out Marlon Anderson to start the inning.


Benitez, who has blown his last three saves after converting seven straight, gestured to the fans twice, including raising his arms as he walked to the dugout after retiring the side in order.
