I wasn't impressed with him. His outside shot was inconsistant and he drove into traffic over and over again, many times turning the ball over. Yeah, he made a few nice plays from time to time, but in general I doubt he would make many NBA teams and if so he would be the 12th man on the bench. What the Kings need more than a backup point guard is a combo guard. And one that can shoot the ball. Part of the reason Cousins had a lot of problems in the post was that the other team didn't guard our perimiter players and just doubled down on him.
Let me put it this way. Summer league may be just a small barometer with which to judge talent. But if you have talent, you should stand out from all those that don't. Because if you can't stand out in summer league, more than likey, your not going to stand out in the NBA.
