I agree with this as long as the Kings don't get one of the top 2 picks. Spencer Hawes is NOT the center of the future. Spencer Hawes is a pretty good offensive finesse player, but the Kings need a large force at center. Right now the Kings are about as intimidating as a bagel. If the Kings were to grab Thabeet, I think Spencer could be a pretty good backup as a combination behind Jason Thomson and Thabeet and he would get pretty decent minutes.

But I think you are overrating him a bit, at least Mutombo???
