Seems like way too much....

Nene, two expirings and 2 first-rounders in 2007????

I guess you do it if you think this might put you over the top, but it sounds more like an inflated deal like Atlanta's (Johnson) to me.

The Nuggets are still running in the race for Allen Iverson, according to NBA sources, but the deal would not include Marcus Camby. The Nuggets would likely trade forward-center Nene and possibly two other players with expiring contracts, along with their two first-round picks in 2007, to Philadelphia.

I can't see why they want Nene....or his awful contract.

And Denver is going to have a bit of a rough time finding a package for the Sixers being Nene is BYC.

Interesting find however.

that might not be that bad for the sixers... depending on who they draft... they would have their bigman rotation set for years.... draft a point guard, webbers contract expires a year later and bam!!!

draft pick pg
iggy
korver
nene
dalembert

sound better than what we have right now...

Wow -- I would think that could be a trumping offer, although I;m not sure where the two picks will fall. But 2 picks int eh best draft in forever? A young big possible PF of the future? And expirings? Philly should just jump that and go.

Yeah, really looks like a good offer for Philly.
But what in the world does Denver think to do with both Carmello and Iverson on offense? And with Kenyon and Camby always injured, I'm not sure it's really worth it for them to give Nene away too (at least between these 3 guys they can put together 2 healthy big guys for some time).

I'm calling BS. First off, Nene is BYC and even if the rumors are to be believed that they're trying to pawn Nene off on Portland for Magloire -- why would Portland do that? And how could Denver offer two first round picks when there's no guarantee they're going to get Minny's first rounder since it's top-10 protected?

I really think this is a leak out of Philly's front office trying to convince people they're getting a better offer than they are.
