DMC is pissed that the "leak" try to make him out to be the "bad guy" once again in the negotiations with Karl.

I hope DMC is not pissed at the fans.

I wonder if he feels the "leak" was from the FO. If he finds out the "leak" was from the FO, the Kings could be in deep poopoo.

I'm hoping all this b.s. was just from Sam Amick, and his personal vendetta against DMC and him trying to get a story, and not another mis-step by the FO.

I think Ham is over-reacting for dramatic effect. Cousins had his say tonight. He strongly believes #LoyaltyIsLove and he just expects loyalty from those to whom he has been loyal.

Ham is, like some others, trying to get in front of the story for reasons I simply cannot fathom or understand.

I'm done panicking because of some stupid comment on Twitter. Life is too short and the times of joy for Kings fans are too few and far between to waste all this energy on "Oh noes" that might never come to pass.

I REALLY like Casspi morphing into the trusted vet presence/lieutenant beside Cousins as their careers progress. They are clearly kindred spirits and have that deep respect for each other's desire to win. Feels like ultimate trust between those two. For every Cousins, there needs to be a Casspi.

He checks hsi twitter and whatnot, finds out he's the bad guy once again, can trace it to media "leaks", and so I'm thinking his frustration and refusal to talk after the game was aimed at the media, not the city/fans. "It never stops" = the slander never stops.

Playing things out in the media is always a mistake. You have to remember it is a reporters job to stir up the pot to sell stories. You can't give them information.

We all love Cousins here in Sacramento. Hang in there Cousins. It doesn't really matter what is said in the media. If you are doing what is right and you are right with your creator, all else will fall into place.

After that post-game statement - I'm more concerned he may be gone.

Why even worry about it he just signed a 4 year extension he's going nowhere. He has 0 leverage untill 2016/17 to put a contender around him and probably a year before that so Gay doesn't leave.

I agree with Brick's read on it: that he was more upset at the media constantly cutting him down than anything.

There was probably some frustration at the FO, but his main beef has always been being slandered and disrespected in public. He perceived the media doing that by tossing his name around. Remains to be seen, and we may never know, if those leaks came from the Kings, or if they were false leaks. But I thought he actually handled it beautifully. He didn't attack anyone, yet stood his ground. It was an impassioned, mature response to incredibly petty, childish behavior... by someone.

This cousins drama isn't suprising to those of us who think this FO F up will ultimately cost us our best player.
Ham isn't being dramatic. It's so obvious where this is all leading.
I was firmly in the camp that big cuz needed this all-star berth. He needed something good to happen to him this season. With all these cousins rumors and how he has been made to be the bad guy I'm thinking that going to the NY to play around all the best players from some of the most winningest teams is one of the worst things that could happen to the Kings. Cuz will have so many guys in his ear, whispering sweet nothings, trying to coax him out of the cluster F sacramento. He is at wits end. Who here doesn't think that some of those whispers coaxing him out might be that last thing that will tip the scales in favor of finally throwing his hands up and demanding a trade out of here. This FO does not appreciate DMC.

I don't care if he's signed a 10 year deal. If DMC says he's done and demands a trade, he'll get it. DMC has ALL the leverage.

It dosent work that way unless you think this would be the one time a franchise player gets traded cause he's demands it but isn't in his his last 2 years of his contract. Can you name a time when that has happened?

Here, I presume he is agitated about being linked to the blocking of Karl. He is responding to the media that is spreading the misinformation, or "gossip." That's why he was addressing "y'all" (the media). He is then discrediting that he would do such a thing, referencing that he has "stayed loyal the whole time."

If you change it from "God's plan" to gossiping, it makes more sense as a DMC who is tired of being painted as a bad guy by the media, tired of losing, yet still forging ahead with Sac. Asking the media how they are going to stop "God's plan" means absolutely nothing.

That's what I thought also. But then reading all the reports and hearing it again, I was no longer sure. I think your right.
 
Of course it would make sense if he meant it as "gossiping" -
that's why there's no way he said that. :cool:

Things can't make sense if you are part of the Kings' organization.
Once you enter those hallowed revered esteemed stone walls, all sense gets forcibly extracted from your soul.
 
The Kid is FRUSTRATED ! I dont blame him. You dont blame him. What is the problem. Any young star in the league put in this situation would be frustrated. Bring on Karl and lets actually install an offense and defense that works. Trade deadline is fast approaching. Get Karl in here and let him see what he has so we can get to trading for more pieces he needs. A coach of Karl's caliber will work with what he has but you got to give him pieces to work with. Hurry the F&*K up front office. You have taken WAY too long to make a simple decision.
