DeMarcus Effing Cousins

first buzzer beater of his career. Hope he gets a HOF coach now to teach him what it takes to win on a consistent basis...

and cut down on his TOs and fouls, leading NBA in both categories. Boogie makes this up and mostly down team watchable can't imagine Kings without him - no way.

A previous poster asked if the Sign Lady would bring the F-bomb for the first time. I think "We Are BOOGIE Proud of our All-Star!" comes pretty close ;)

Yes. What's God's plan?

Yeah, I figured somebody would have to jump on that.

What you saw is a frustrated young man who has been loyal to this team and this city since day 1. And what has he gotten in return? Some of the crap on Twitter today - with Boogie tagged in a lot of it - was beyond ugly. The crap about him wanting to keep Karl away, etc.

I don't have time to transcribe the whole post-game commentary he gave, but he had every right to say what he said. After he made the comment about God's plan, he also said:

Don't get it twisted cousins. The city/fans have been as loyal to you as you've been to us. Your beef should be with media or front office.

I understand his frustrations. I just hope he can seperate the sacramento media from the fans that support him. I hope he continues to stay loyal to this city.

Here's the video.

I would take the Sacramento comment as a claim to his character in response to rumors of him or his side blocking coaching moves as an attack on his character.

After breezing through the twitter stuff and postgame stuff, here's my guess:

Only a week or two ago Cuz poked an old media type on twitter about that guy's claim 5 years ago that Cuz would be in prison within 5 years. It was a reminder of his longstanding advesarial relationship with the media, and his belief that the media are the ones who piled on and built up his reputation as a bad apple.

So yesterday Sam Amick comes out with a claimed leak that its Cousins' people who have been holding up George Karl, at which point a great many foolish fans and whatnot start running with it, claiming Cuz is the problem, what has he won, screw him I'd prefer the old cancer survivor, whatever. He checks hsi twitter and whatnot, finds out he's the bad guy once again, can trace it to media "leaks", and so I'm thinking his frustration and refusal to talk after the game was aimed at the media, not the city/fans. "It never stops" = the slander never stops.
