Csn-w Hd?

I apologize if this has been discussed before, but will CSN-West be broadcasting home games in HD again this season? I haven't been able to find any of the pre-season games in HD, but maybe that's only because it is the pre-season. Anyone know?

I could have sworn I read that they WERE going to broadcast the home games in HD, which is why I responded in the affirmative in the second post in this thread.

I think Comcast shows the home games in HD, I don't think the satellite providers get the HD signal from Comcast. Not sure on that, though, since my 11-year old 27" TV is still chugging along just fine and we're not replacing it until next year. :(

Home games are in bold.

Dish Network and DirecTV both carry the SDTV channels. There has been some rumors of Dish trying to add the Comcast Kings games in HD, but it has yet to materialize. DirecTV has also been adding some regional sports networks for some markets. Although that is limited to customers with their new MPEG4 receivers. And currently the Sacramento market is only getting channels 3, 10, 13 & 31 on the satellite MPEG4 channels. The bay area has been getting their locals and Fox regional sports in HD. Hopefully it won't take all year for the sat providers to get with the program.

oddly enough, CSN-west is listed among the HD channels in the DirecTV HDTV guide, but it's not showing replay in HD, just regular rez.

now that I think about it, all the HD games I've seen when I'm at my brothers house have been the TNT, ESPN and News10 games.

Yeah, last year comcast mailed us the schedule which indicated the particular games available in hd. I am so pleased i upgraded my tv, HD basketball is unbelievable.
