Cousins suspended one game

I'm sure he'll respond like a pro.... Maybe they are trying to keep him from that 16th technical...
 
As much as I respect Boogie's talent, I can fully understand this suspension. He's a professional athlete and he needs to act like one. I sincerely hope this sends the message to Cousins that as good as he is, he needs to control his outbursts. My signature says it all...without the anger and frustration rearing its ugly head, DMC would be unstoppable. He is, at times, his own worst enemy...
 
Saw this coming after seeing the video of him on the bench.

Tough loss because if this team was going to go on a crazy run against non playoff teams to end the season, the Magic game is the game it needed to start against. Now DMC is out. And when he does pick up his 16th tech, it'll be another 1 game suspension.
 
I didn't watch the game last night so I didn't see what forced this. What specifically is he be suspended for?

I have no clue how to post the video, but there's a video of him yelling in Karl's direction for like 25 seconds and then Rondo steps in front of DMC to stop the yelling.
 
Was he near tears? He and WCS seem to be on the same page in a way. Damn this team and as I said before; F*** Karl! A skilled so called HOFer coach should be able to turn this team into more of a winner. This is absurd. If it isn't all Karl, I apologize but I expected far more than what we got. Should have rehired Theus.

I didn't see it. I thought I made that clear unless you skip the notes that don't support your agenda.

I watched the video. My vision isn't good. I didn't even see Karl. I get the idea, though. Didn't seem that bad.

Okay, that didn't look as bad as all that, but I rather suspect the words used were less than complimentary.


The unfortunate spin that may be applied here is when Karl is fired, people who don;t know, or who do know but just have an agenda, will spin it to be that "Cousins got another coach fired", as if Karl was doing great before Cuz undercut him.

Your agenda is that DMC is blameless and Karl is a tool. If by agenda you mean a critical look at his behavior, yeah I guess that's my agenda.

At this point, does it even still matter? If we get a new coach and we start to win... winning fixes everything.

I did. He yelled at him. Certainly actionable if he used magic words, which I imagine were included, but actually I was prepared for much worse.

This is not what he said, but I could substitute in a collective KF rant, or a Bobby Jackson rant, with that same video and it would be no more than an expression of everybody's collective frustration.

"Where the **** is Willie? Why won't you play him? We're getting ****ing killed on the boards, where's my help?: And what the **** am I doing standing at the 3pt line when they are guarding me with a 6'9" PF? Can you at least start doubling Kyrie? Call a ****ing timeout? ANYTHING??? WTF!?!"


I think that would be a decent summation of the running dialogue of every Kings fan watching the game in person or at home. Cuz expressing similar sentiments is hardly going to shock me.

There are those that claimed Vlade undermined Karl's authority by not suspending Demarcus for last outburst towards the coach. I didn't and don't buy that argument. Authority comes with respect but continued respect isn't a given, it must be earned and deserved. It is quite possible that there was a "meeting" of the minds and he was warned not to let it happen again. Words, complimentary or not, happened again and hence the suspension. But what do I know?

Oh my God, man, Boogie is not blameless in my eyes. He is far from it. Find one quote going back to the beginning where I have said anything like that. I honestly couldn't see much in the video but I am sure Boogie went over the top. Defending Boogie does not mean denying reality.

That was my first impression. I doubt DMC makes it through the season without receiving one more technical. DMC wants to win badly and he's frustrated as he should be but he needs to be professional.

The Kings would need to win most of their remaining games while teams above the Kings would need to lose plenty for any hope of a playoff spot. It's not happening. Let the youngsters play more and see what they can do. When the season ends the organization will be back at the drawing board.
 
Reports are that it continued after the game, not just what that video shows on the bench. (think there was a cryptic CD tweet after the game too)

Reports are he targeted Vlade as well.
