Cousins for Barnes/Ezeli

Might not be a popular post and discussion, but would Kings consider trading Cousins for Harrison Barnes and Ezeli? Last year Barnes and Ezeli might be off the table but with the Warriors loss in the finals all of a sudden Barnes and Ezeli are available.

Why the Kings do it? Hit the reset button and start with a young, athletic talented group of

Seth Curry, McLemore, Barnes, WCS, Ezeli.

High potential, good balance of offense and defense. Can play fast and exciting basketball.

Why the Kings won't do it. With new coach with Joerger, management may want to see what he can do with current lineup and with Cousins.

Seriously? Barnes and Ezeli? I'm not a DMC fan and would welcome shipping him out but that would be a pretty stupid trade IMO. And the flip side to this would be...why would the Warriors ever do this? He doesn't fit in with their team.

We can get more for Cousins than Barnes/Ezeli. We could probably max out Harrison Barnes without the Warriors matching.

Theoretically, we could have Barnes for free without giving up an asset.

I think Barnes would struggle mightily playing for a sucky team like ours. He got exposed in the playoffs.

I have no words! Cousins is our franchise player and those guys are scrubs in comparison. This year is a do or die year for the Kings and I really want to see what Cousins and Joerger can accomplish together. I think the sky could be the limit with a good coach for once.

Even though Barnes is a FA, logic says pull the trigger on this trade.

First of all, "Talented". Yeah, right. Most of those guys you have on that team aren't talented. Seth Curry while a nice surprise and a decent enough piece isn't a talent. Ben McLemore and Ezeli aren't talents. Neither is Barnes for that matter. That team doesn't win 25 games and has little future. Ezeli and Curry aren't even that young, for that matter. Curry is the same age as DMC. Ezeli is older.

Second, I wouldn't trade for Barnes/Ezeli under normal circumstances, let alone for DMC.

Third, they're free agents anyway.
