I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if he's going to have that Gilbert Arenas "I'm going to work every team because they all passed on me" complex. Wouldn't mind seeing that chip on his shoulder at all :)
 
They're starting to get loose. Hassan said he really likes black and purple :)

Also: Cousins "likes" Gasol and Hassan likes Garnett / Hakeem

i wonder if the journos actually prepare any questions or they all just sit down and think "i don't know what to say" certainly seems that way.

Thought hassan spoke well actually despite the fact im always taking the michael out him.
 
Very nicely done by both the new rookie Kings. Both seemed relaxed, not tired as one might expect from all the activity of late and best of all just happy to be Kings. Hassan was surprisingly mature - hope that puts to rest all the ADD and other nonsense about him. Cousins has a quiet confidence I really like and should be very welcome here as he gets going at NBA level.
 
Wish it had gone on longer. Cousins looks like he's a big shy kid. He was obviously uncomfortable. It was interesting at the end when they were standing side by side. Hassan looked taller by an inch or so, but Cousins shoulders were higher than Hassan's. As Jerry Reynolds said, you don't rebound with the top of your head.

Cousins has looked extremely uncomfortable in every single interview I've seen him in.
 
I've been following Boogie for 3 years now. (HUGE UK fan)

He is a FANTASTIC interview. However, I think all the "attitude" talk and EVERY SINGLE interviewer (recently) asking him about it has made him really gun shy. Can't wait to see Big Cuz back in form, he's a riot.

No worries about him taking the court seriously, he's a bad a**. Show him love and he'll give you 100%.

OT, but maturity has nothing to do w/ADD. It doesn't go away when you get older. If he has ADD, he has ADD. It has no bearing on his maturity, it is just another hurdle someone has to face on their own. Kind of offensive when you lump immaturity in with ADD for those that suffer from it.

Yah true.. I had ADD before they even knew it existed lol.. I always wondered why in school I was pretty "on and off". Sometimes I would listen for a minute or two and sometimes I would be off in my own world.

I don't take anything for my ADD because I don't like the idea of putting a C2 narcotic in my system just to get me to pay attention. (C2 is ont he same level as oxycontin in regards to addictive qualities). It does not affect my maturity one bit. If anything it's probably made me appear a bit snobby, and a bit more mature at the same time. It's also the reason I don't want to have kids :) I just don't have the patience for it.

Wish I could've seen the presser. Doesn't surprise me that Cousins came across as nervous or introverted. Once he gets to know the local beat journalists, he should loosen up and he'll become a quote machine again haha
