Cousins and the camera man

Huh? I am entitled to my opinion, which is hardly different than most informed people connected with the league have of DMC. I'll have the same opinion the next time he does something stupid again too and I'm sure you'll be there defending him again and making excuses.
What should he have done differently?

Something stupid? You call asking for privacy something stupid? If I were in his shoes and had just been manhandled and I was feeling sick, you damn sure I would tell a cameraman to get his camera off my junk, on or not. Thats invasion of privacy. There are laws against filming people without their consent. And if you got smart with me for asking for privacy, you damn sure I'm gonna get smart back.

Yes, your certainly entitled to your opinion. And were entitled to ours. Frankly, I'm sick and tired of the word, EXCUSE, being bandied around. Your using it in a way to cheapen facts. Facts that you choose to ignore. Apparently facts don't mean anything to you unless they strengthen your opinion. If they don't, then they're excuses to you. You almost admit to your bias where Cousins is concerned by saying you'll have the same opinion next time. By doing so, you lose all credibility. With you, Cousins is guilty until proven innocent. Maybe the problem here isn't with Cousins, but with you. Maybe you ought to ask yourself why you feel the way you do.

You want to know why Cousins is the one always involved in these type of things? In one of his games in college, he was on the floor going after a loose ball. He ended up lying on his back with both hands on the ball. A player from an opposing team also had had his hands on the ball and was on top of Cousins. The player on top then threw an elbow to Cousins throat. Also on youtube! Cousins then retaliated by throwing a punch at the player on top. The punch missed, but all the ref's saw was Cousins throwing the punch. Now the question isn't whether Cousins was wrong or not. Doesn't matter in this discussion. The question is, can anyone tell me the name of the other player? I'll bet no one can. Why? Because no one cares what the name of the other player is! His name isn't DeMarcus Cousins!!!

And thats why Cousins always seems to be in the middle of these discussions. Because he makes good press. Everyone knows who he is, and he already has a reputation. Once you have a reputation, your under the glass, and everything you do is magnified. If Rasheed Wallace played two seasons without an incident, no one would take notice. But the minute he blew up again, everyone would just think, well thats Wallace, what else would you expect.

I'll tell you who I'm upset with. Its the punk A$$ cameraman. Its a privilige to be in the lockerroom, and the least he can do is keep his mouth shut, and respond to the wishes of a player. It is in fact, the players locker room, and not the cameraman's. In the future, the Kings should close the locker room to the press until all the players are dressed. There are many teams in the NBA that have those rules. And if the rest of the press is upset about those rules, then blame the stupid cameraman for not doing his job properly.

I was not there in the locker room so this was just a hypothetical but I do know that this is the sort of thing that he says at times. No, you're not getting my source.

I have no agenda. I'm just all for personal accountability. Something that apparently isn't very common anymore.
It is very immature to act on hypothetical scenario. You don't know the whole story and you are ready to drop the hammer. I think the personal accountability should be you looking in a mirror.

I call shenanigans on that comment. Could you provide some substantiation for "most informed people"? And by that, I mean many more than one or two sports commentators. MOST is a pretty drastic qualifier to use.

Bravo. Well stated and totally correct.
